Great Intro to Personal Finance
Sean and Liz do an excellent job of giving concise but well thought out tips on how to handle money. My favorite thing about this podcast is that the hosts never place blame or guilt on consumers. They are very empathetic to individual situations and leave the judgment out of finance. I would caution following the advice on the debt collection episode. Liz mentions if you call a debt collection company you can trigger a law suit. In some states you can have a motion for default judgment placed against you if you DON’T get in touch with the firm your debt has been placed with. I listen to every new episode, even if it doesn’t apply directly to my situation. It makes me feel more confident in my decisions, and makes me better manage my money. The hosts are easy to listen to and very knowledgeable.
