“I’m a huge fan of Yahtzee, but this just doesn’t work. Yahtzee sounds like he’d literally rather be doing anything else and has no chemistry with the other hosts. Increasingly, more than half of each episode involves reading superchats that are either cloying or refer to something one of the hosts said half an hour before and no longer remembers.
I really wanted to like it because I’ve loved everything Yahtzee has done but it feels pained and forced.”
