The New York You Don’t Know
Those of us who are not native to NYC we move here starry eyed and in awe of the greatest city in the world, where dreams are made. Once you get over the intoxicating allure of the hustle hard city you want to educate yourself about all the nuances and what really makes this 5 borough city tick. The host of New York Said takes anyone who is interested on a full disclosure, no holds barred tour of this city through the voices of its people. You never know who or what you are going to hear but you always know it is worth the listen! The that guests represent the city are varied, vibrant, and dangerously human. Without agenda or flowery manipulation they share what is real about New York. There are several standout episodes that I would suggest early on everyone listen to the Dot episode, the Sundhe Moses episode, the Clayton Patterson, the Bob Garcia, Martha Cooper, and a few more. To keep it a hundred, you need to binge listen. But don’t take my word for it, check it out yourself.

These stories are so intriguing. The location, setting, random disruptions and background noise really paint a picture here. This is my favorite thing to listen to on my long commutes.
