Special guest Dr Vanessa Beavis talks leadership, juggling a busy workload and holding the ANZCA Presidency during the pandemic with NZSA President and Podcast host Dr Morgan Edwards. Dr Vanessa is the immediate past president of ANZCA and is a specialist Anaesthetist in Tāmaki Makaurau. Her clinical interests include perioperative medicine and liver transplant anaesthesia. Prior to her role as ANZCA President she was the Director of Perioperative Services at Auckland City Hospital.
