A Dishonest Premise
Love these ladies in their comedy, but they admit up front that they have no interest or intention to enjoy this. They come in hating it, and remain closed in their hate. They talk over things, then wonder what happened after missing the scenes that explained it, then blamed the movie for their own inattention. They’re not discovering anything, this isn’t an exploration, they come in with a pre-conceived conclusion, and don’t seek to change anything. Then they claimed to their guest they were super-focused after missing 60% of the data the movie literally presented to them. I lost count of the number of times in their watch-through that I said to my phone “the movie told you that not more than 2 minutes ago.” And then they claim the movie is confusing. I don’t need this sort of negativity in my feed.
