Tune in to hear from one that will become a great leader amongst us as she tells about why she chose a career in academic pediatric dentistry and the many opportunities therein.  You will be captivated! Dr. Lauren Feldman is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Postdoctoral Director for the Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry, and Director of Pediatric Interprofessional Education at New York University College of Dentistry. She is the recipient of a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) K02 grant for public health studies and research of and coordination of interprofessional education and practice at NYU. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and serves as a consultant and grants reviewer for the AAPD. Her research interests are in the integration of social work and dentistry, HPV Vaccination Anticipatory Guidance, Sugar Sweetened Beverage Policies, MIH, and molar substitution. She completed her B.A. in psychology at Barnard College, doctoral training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and post-doctoral training at Boston Children’s Hospital. She is currently completing her MPH part-time at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She maintains an active private practice in NYC.
