NZ's unemployment rate continues to rise

The latest unemployment figures for the three months to September 30th have been released by Stats NZ. They show the rate continues to rise and is now sitting at 4.8%, up from 4.6% in the June quarter. Annual wage growth also slowed, down to 3.8% from 4.3%. Infometrics Chief Executive and Principal Economist Brad Olsen explains what all this means.
