“There are a lot of podcasts in the film awards space, and this is one of the most enjoyable listens. The cast is appealing, knowledgeable and passionate about all types of film, from blockbusters to art house cinema. Matt Neglia is passionate, friendly and slightly rough around the edges in his delivery, keeping things moving and giving his regular guests (to just name 3, Dee Ann Chiazzese, Michael Schwartz and Will Mavity) plenty of space to express their diverse points of view and champion their favorite genres. I do wish Matt would show a bit of caution before crowning favorites as inevitable Oscar winners, there’s plenty of time to discuss each candidates’ strengths and problems. Overall, though, this is one of the most fun pods in a crowded topic.”
