“This is my favorite film podcast by far. I listen to almost every episode as soon as it drops. Very thought-provoking discussions with a diverse set of guest/co-hosts (and lots of female perspectives, a rare find in the film podcast world!). As someone who has only in the last couple of years decided to really lean into my love of film, this show has been such a great way for me to learn and expand my thinking on the artistic, cultural, and technical aspects of film. Matt and the rest of the gang have such unique and interesting perspectives without coming across as pretentious or judgmental (a problem I find a lot with other film podcasts). It’s also great for keeping up to speed on latest news in the film world, and obviously it’s amazing for keeping up with awards season. Lots of great written content on the website as well. I genuinely look forward to seeing how Matt and the NBP team expand in the future. I definitely recommend becoming a patreon subscriber, the bonus pods are great!”
