Really interesting, wouldn’t have thought I’d be interested in such a deep dive of Utopianism but you learn so much about these pockets of history and how they relate to larger events. That said, I think the criticism of the first episode’s *huge* omission about Black indentured servants at Jamestown is super valid - that’s an incredible oversight and makes the history laid out here incomplete.

Well researched and interesting, Nice Try exceeded my expectations. I’ve learned something new in each episode. Her voice is also easy to listen too. Ignore the 1star reviews. After reading comments, I realized they are extremist political hate mongers.

I think it’s Utopian to have victors have the defeated share in the writing of the history. Why ask the Pequot? Displacement of civilizations seems to be what humans do best. The podcast is so far comprised of really old examples. Surely there are more relevant, modern communities that would provide listeners more educational benefit.
