“I love this podcast when it’s just Jordan or Jordan and a family member. Madelayne does not add anything of substance. I find myself cringing at her “takes” on the cases. The re-airing of The Glove Guy series is indicative. She found the whole thing funny and “weird” instead of predatory and hazardous even after a victim had described how he had been hurt.
Also: With Madelayne, there’s so much boring talk about the weather or if she’s heard of the town the case happened in. I have to skip multiple minutes in to get to the case-passing over anecdotes about cats and her views on TikTok. Who cares?
Please go back to the old format and get rid of Madelayne. Her relationship with the cases has a gross air to me. Her connection (however minuscule) to the case/location feels more important to her than the fact that a human being was hurt.”
