“I love this podcast. I personally was intrigued to listen because I subscribe to Dave’s YouTube channel and I never miss an episode of TROS with Sam, William and Bentley (admiring Sam’s parenting skills). As someone who’s not into Kpop/Kdrama, I only get insights to Korea from them (and Korean Englishman/Jolly). That’s when I thought maybe the podcast will be a good fun to listen to, so I gave it a crack. What I get is beyond that—every episode is so enjoyable (despite me not being aware of the guests prior to listening). The stories and convo that Sam, Dave, Saul (please keep him on!) and the guests bring to the table are so interesting and S&D+Saul ask such invigorating questions. While I pick up heaps of new info on Korea/its creative industry, what I appreciate the most is the discussions beyond this topic: identity crisis (as an Indonesian having spent my secondary school + uni in Australia, I can relate), relationship, cancel culture, unpopular opinion. The vibe of the podcast is also chilled and cozy (but also light and sometimes reflexive), which reminds me of the conversations that I often have with my mates. I listen to the episode as I go about my day, and they never fail to make me feel good. Thank you Sam, Dave, Saul for injecting some good vibe into my day! Keep it up. Lots of love from Indonesia.”
