Today, Ben Cherington had a press conference at 2 pm and as usual there were things said (or not really said at all). He did state he gave recommendation to keep Derek Shelton. There were a few other things that were said the is leading us to tonight's discussion. Yesterday the Pirates did make a few offseason moves by firing Andy Haines, Justin Meccage, & Adam Vish.
