“I'm a longtime listener and this podcast was once one of my favorites. Joe would tell stories about hunting and fishing that I could relate to and that would excite me about the outdoors.
The show has evolved into the Joe Duckworth political and personal update show. Joe now comes off as a typical angry right-wing talk show host. If I wanted to listen to that I'd tune into Rush, Beck, or O'Reilly. In the most recent show Joe went so far as to say he doesn't want to associate himself with anyone who has different views than his own. That is a real easy way to alienate himself from his listeners and I don't really think it's a good policy for anyone. Beyond that Joe talks about his health problems and very little about hunting.
This show was once a really good outdoors show with good topics and interesting guests. I'm not going to listen anymore but might check back someday to see if Joe has gone back to the roots of the show. I do wish Joe the best of luck with his health. I really hope he loses some of his bitter attitude and brings this show back to what it once was.”
