Not for me
Though I like BFish each time I’ve heard him or read one of his essays, the combination of hosts and format of the cast doesn’t work for me. Discussing GRRM’s personality, upbringing and life in the 1960s to justify how someone should read the story is too much for me. I enjoy hearing about parallels within the books rather than such deep meta analysis that takes me out of the story and the fun. PQ drones on to the point in which I’ve gotten concerned about the odd sounds of air catching on his throat and the ceaseless yelling in the background. So strange. I see how those that love all the “extra” material would like this podcast while we wait for another book, for sure.
