The hosts are well-read not only on the text but have reasonably extensive familiarity with the major theories, and use their focus on theme, plot and character to gain a deeper understanding of the story, both published and yet-to-come. Listened to many ASOIAF podcasts over the years, and this is one of the best I’ve found! The way these guys go into the details and themes of chapters shows there great knowledge and passion for the books and I’m well and truly in for the ride now. Can’t wait for the future eps!
