“The Couple that Cruises Coast to Coast (for work)" with Caroline Clements and Dillon Seitchik-Reardon
Description
Imagine being in a camper van with your partner for a year, cruising the coastline of entire states, and countries, and eventually adding in the new addition of your toddler. Caroline Clements and Dillon Seitchik-Reardon did just that. Quit their jobs, and joined forces in the creative process to produce the quintessential, best-selling guidebook series, “Places We Swim”.
Both Caroline and Dillon had differing career paths, Caroline is a writer and editor. She is a freelance editor, currently the features editor an interior annual RUSSH Home by RUSSH magazine. She was the founding Editor at Broadsheet, a leading digital lifestyle guide, and worked on cookbooks and travel books for the brand. Dillon is an Environmental Scientist, Video Producer, Photographer and Co-writer of gardening books for the Little Veggie Patch Co. When they met, they bonded over book publishing, and now are not only doing life together, but work together on what’s been grand adventures, and big work challenges as co-authors. We talk to Caroline and Dillon about their journeys to this point, what connected them as people, and what connected them to the travelling and working lifestyle. And how they’ve managed to remain together, and raise a new family, doing projects on the wide open roads at home and afar.
