Engaging interviews, transparent reflections
Kix has the uncanny ability to cover a large variety of topics and subjects with the same level of intention and poise in each interview. A natural teacher, he slips behind the discussion of the actual written piece, and asks some real questions about the writer’s process and feelings. In doing this, he and his guests inspire the listener to dig deep to understand self and move forward in their own writing endeavors. I also appreciate his post-show reflections, where he takes what he has learned with and from his guests, and applies this to his own journey as a writer and importantly, a human being.

Loved the first few episodes of “Now That’s a Great Story,” especially the one with Eli Saslow. I’ve listened to many Saslow interviews, but Paul found a way to ask questions that took listeners deeper than all the others. Really excited for all the future episodes.
