I’ve never written a review, BUT...
Hmm sounded promising at first however disappointed in the angle the Juno has taken regarding FACS. Either she doesn’t really understand the system or has deliberately chosen an emotive tact. There’s an obvious poor ‘biological parents can’t help their plight against the big machine of system’ vibe. I have some experience with FACS and the removal of children from biological parents and I can say that it is really only extreme cases where biological parents loose the care of their children (it’s not a perfect system). The Jurno has mentioned several times the culture of secrecy in FACS but hasn’t once mentioned the fosters parents and children’s right to safety from the biological parents. FACS keeps information from biological parents for very important and critical reasons. I’m really surprised by this angle. I want to learn more about the case but I’m not sure this will be the podcast to do it. Such a shame. Really wanted to get behind this podcast. I see many others have left similar comments.

A lot of people here slamming the pod after 1 ep... make of that what you will but its pretty clear these reviews are all out to defend foster families. An unsolved case should be examined in as many ways possible. To not do so, is poor investigative journalism. Look forward to more of this...Read full review »
