Disappointing
Very obvious undercurrent of vilifying foster parents. Throw away line that the boy had a black eye during their care - no explanation but just stated - left hanging, I expected better from a journalist of some renown. Read one of your articles Caro about when does the state intervene to save a child’s life which was scathing of the system for not intervening when a child is in danger. Children are not taken away because their parents are poor. There has to be very good proof that the child or children in this case are in danger. Doesn’t mean the parents don’t love them but it does mean they are not caring for them. A little bit of balance in that department would make this a much better podcast. Disappointed.

Present the facts and then let the audience decide. It’s such a shame that the bending of the story has overshadowed an otherwise...Read full review »
