“I’m not necessarily that into design, but like anyone, I really try and make my home feel as homey & warm as possible. I started following Toby on Instagram because I love how he made his tiny cottage so homey and his content is a nice change from my usual feed filled with the terrible things happening in our world. In a weird way I feel like I got to know Toby through Instagram? He just seems so authentically himself - or at least that what comes through for me lol.
I really wasn’t sure I’d listen to his podcast because as I said, I’m not that much of an interior design enthusiast, and I know next to nothing about it. I’m more of a true crime podcaster.
But for Toby, I gave it a try and I have to say, I love his podcast. Toby and Mikey are such wonderful people and I was laughing out loud at the first episode I listened to. I love how long their intro’s are because I just feel like I’m listening to friends of mine talk about everyday life! And their design content is (obviously) perfect and really useful - I now know every piece of furniture in a living room should have at least two feet on a rug.
