A podcast you can’t hear
So much of the court proceeding is completely inaudible. Not just a few seconds but long monologues and dialogues. Leaves the listener completely in the dark and annoyed. And I felt a little misled by the narrator. In the beginning it felt like it would be more of a mystery, did this couple do something illegal or not? And the host was going to navigate through that. But it becomes quickly obvious that the host most definitely has her mind made up as to the truth of the story. Which would have been fine if she was forthcoming from the beginning. I found the presentation of timelines and events so jumbled and confusing that honestly I often found myself just tuning out. Do not recommend.

Love this so far. People are just butthurt because of the politics placed into it but isn’t the criminal justice system and how it runs political? Can’t take the heat I guess...

I love crime junkie and all other audio chuck podcasts...but I got 15 minutes into this and it was blatantly bashing conservatism. Seems very ignorant and unnecessary. I don’t wanna hear political bashing from either side, I came here for true crime.

Yikes! For this being laid out by a journalist, there are very politically left-leaning comments that aren’t at all pertinent to the story. No need for them.
