A podcast you can’t hear
So much of the court proceeding is completely inaudible. Not just a few seconds but long monologues and dialogues. Leaves the listener completely in the dark and annoyed. And I felt a little misled by the narrator. In the beginning it felt like it would be more of a mystery, did this couple do something illegal or not? And the host was going to navigate through that. But it becomes quickly obvious that the host most definitely has her mind made up as to the truth of the story. Which would have been fine if she was forthcoming from the beginning. I found the presentation of timelines and events so jumbled and confusing that honestly I often found myself just tuning out. Do not recommend.

Why in the first episode you spend 20 min describing the political party of Newport Beach. Not very impressed so far

The narrator UNLOADS her opinion right out the gate. I don’t mind observation, but her monologue about privilege and racism(!?) without providing relevant info about the actual crime...was aggressive.
