My ears are still happy
Having been a long time fan of Fortunately, where these two wonderful souls Fi and Jane saw me through bereavement, a lockdown maternity, and family crisis, I didn’t know what to expect from the move to Times Radio. I am so pleased to have the continuous company of these two talented and empathetic broadcasters. Jane and Fi compliment each other so well and I’ve really enjoyed the more uninhibited discussion (the BBC’s loss amid the tragedy of its gradual asphyxiation by Government). Best of all: they’re not afraid to admit it they occasionally get the tone a bit wrong. I still hanker after the treat of the longer episodes with which we Fortunately listeners were spoiled, but I don’t agree that Off Air falls short on thoughtful content as some have argued. The adverts are jarring, particularly midway through (and I do miss the tones of Shaun Keaveny), but it’s a small price to pay to have the companionship of these two and their wonderful mix of humour, wit, incision, facetious fun, and empathy.

More reviews of Off Air... with Jane and Fi
New to Times Radio thanks to being a massive fan of Jane and Fi. Listening to you live is a highlight of my working day. Just bought a paperback copy of your book too. Thank you for all you have done to bring women a voice in the media and making us all laugh in the face of turmoil.
