I Keep Trying
Apart from the god awful, annoying music, which needs binning asap, I’m struggling a bit as to how to fairly sum up my feelings about this podcast. I’m a long term Fortunately fan and it’s still Fi and Jane, but it kind of feels like I’m used to Nigella cooking my supper and then she’s stopped to go serve behind a McDonalds (or similar) counter. It’s great if F and J feel liberated, but for this listener it’s too bitty and disjointed, less comforting or engaging. It’s have a bit of this or that, move along, see you next time. Can’t help but be somewhat disappointed.

More reviews of Off Air... with Jane and Fi
I followed from their last gig and am glad I did! These two are brilliant: insights into things important and things that are simply part if our lives. I’d love to hear more about Nancy and Dora, though.

Like everyone, was sad to see the BBC show come to an end but mightily relieved it continues in another form. Please please though have a word with the sound engineer. I listen to the podcast whilst driving and the sound quality is poor. Often, it’s very difficult to hear Jane, in particular.

Love Fi and Jane’s wit, knowledge, views and friendship. I am so pleased to discover this charming successor podcast to Fortunately (BBC). Both journalists have a wonderful talent for asking interesting questions of guests and of each other. A perfect mix of serious issues and personal anecdote.
