Leah Gingrich competed in her first Olympic Trials in 2004, at the age of 14. Now 31, she is coming off this year’s Trials having made the semi-finals in the 200 Butterfly. After taking six years away from the pool after finishing her collegiate career at the University of Texas, her joy and passion for the sport have been reignited.
