“I just listen to a podcast where Georgia was discussing hospital bills and how disproportionate they are to peoples true means to pay. The discussion was mesmerizing! Many intriguing points were discussed and I appreciate the topic! But, I believe the idea that legislation is necessary to combat the crazy pricing structures of insurance companies and hospitals, that idea. That means it will never happen. My son was recently in a terrible motorcycle accident and after one month of care from emergency room to ICU to intensive rehab we have spent over $1 million of someone else’s money. And he just came out of coma. Now we are moving on to physical and occupational therapy and the billing starts again. In conclusion, there is no real WILL to solve this problem because there are too many crooks making too much money and too many of them are politicians. But thanks for the insights!”
