Description
Boxers and huge City fans Ricky and Campbell Hatton are the latest guests on the Official Man City Podcast.
Ricky is a former light-welterweight world champion having boxed between 1997 and 2012.
During his career, he was synonymous with City, wearing sky blue shorts and entering the ring to Club anthem 'Blue Moon'. This attracted attention from other City supporters, with thousands following his fights from Manchester to all corners of the world as he came up against the best of the best including Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquaio.
His 2008 fight with Juan Lazcano was held at the Etihad Stadium in front of 55,000 fans and fellow City mad stars Noel and Liam Gallagher carried his belts into the ring for his bout with Paulie Malignaggi.
His thick Manchester accent and his humble and personable demeanour means he remains a huge hit amongst City fans - often stopping for autographs and photos on his regular visits to the Etihad Stadium.
23-year-old Campbell is Ricky's son and still in the early days of his boxing career, although he possesses all of the same enthusiasm for City.
Here we get all the stories of their lives following City, representing us in a different sport and connecting with other fans everywhere they go.
