Poor understanding of reality
Hi Jon. Former fan here. I was going to walk away. But you platforming Contrapoints “triggered” me. First things first. JK Rowling is not against trans people. She is against universal unconditional self ID laws - which is what trans activists are fighting for and which you guys, the progressive media, keep forgetting to mention to your audience. Do you not know, do you know but don’t understand the implications, or are you lying? Self ID would allow anyone to change their sex legally, including on birth certificate, - at will, no conditions, no questions asked. This poses a great threat to women’s sex-based rights. But women’s rights are not human rights to you I guess. Self ID is being implemented all over the place without public debate - because people like you are not doing their job. Ireland, California, for example. And this country as a whole too via Bidens executive orders. When Biden issued his LGBT anti-discrimination EO, amid all the celebration you guys forgot to mention that he redefined sex to include gender identity - and directed all federal agencies to do the same, which they did. So now you are the sex that you say you are. No more single-sex shelters or other housing. No more requesting a female hess as leg care provider and being guaranteed you get one. That’s exactly what Jk Rowling is objecting to. Is this bigotry? Or is this common sense?

More reviews of Offline with Jon Favreau
Today’s episode with Johann Hari was so especially engaging that I’ve taken a beat to write my first review for a podcast (and I love all Crooked Media productions!). Listen and learn.

Besides being a John-Stan, I think the podcast is enjoyable and a great tone. I love the variety of guests, and varying topics.

I’ve been binging episodes of this for the past couple of days and really, it’s an excellent podcast. I find Jon Favs’ conversational interview style very appealing and the topics and guests are uniformly fascinating. PSTW is still my favorite Crooked Pod, but this may be a close second.
