“I really liked Offline as an idea when it first launched, especially when Jon interviewed the author of How to Do Nothing. It really felt like it was doing something new for the network, and trying to change our relationship to (social) media. Since then it just feels like it’s slid back into being a Pod Save America appendix. Hearing about how terminally online the host is, interviewing the rich and famous about their hot takes, and hearing about how young people need to simply stop being angry and just vote is getting so old.”
