“I really used to love this podcast. Not only was it informative and a behind the scenes look at the news of the royal family but it was also educational, like why the Earl of Wessex’s children aren’t HRH. Unfortunately, the Meghan effect has taken over this podcast too. I like Meghan and I want to hear about what she’s up to, in addition to the other Royals, but since the lead up to the wedding, the episodes have slowly become all about Meghan and a splattering of others. I seriously think they should rebrand this podcast or create a second one that’s just about Meghan if the listener interest is that high, so others know what to expect. I understanding with the wedding, baby and tour there has been a lot to report but it’s just too much. It’s at saturation point and the last, most recent episode, really did seem to be fawning over the Duchess. The fact that the hosts were dazzled by the fact that the Duchess worked in the lead up to her wedding and that made her a hard worker, had me unsubscribing. I don’t know any woman who hasn’t worked up to their wedding (because I also work, so that’s my circle), and usually plans a wedding herself, without the help of event or wedding planners and Palace staff. As I said, I’m a fan of the Duchess as much as I am most members of the Royal family but that’s why I can’t listen any more. I want to hear more about everyone and don’t need the fangirling. There are enough privately run Social media sites out their falling over themselves doing that.”
