This episode features senior researcher Alejandro Fuentes whom we sat down with to discuss what human rights cities are in practice, and what this means for their inhabitants. How can citizens tell that their city strives to be a human rights city? Alejandro Fuentes is a senior researcher at the RWI institute. His research focuses on international human rights law, in particular on international and regional systems of human rights protection, cultural diversity and identity, groups, minority and indigenous people rights, and human rights education. Fuentes works, amongst other things, with the interlinkages between human rights and the SDGs, and how those interlinkages connect to human rights cities.
