“I love Angela Rye. This fact HAS to be made clear off the top. When I heard she was doing a podcast I was HERE FOR IT!!! She has made me pay more attention to politics because of her relatable personality. But this isn’t about Angela Rye, my critique is about the podcast as a stand-alone entity. I enjoy podcasters who are consistent with their content. We know how often and what day the podcast will drop. Rye was great at first but then there she ghosted out of nowhere, randomly dropped a podcast with my other fave Jemele Hill and has left her podcast audience on “Read” ever since. I would love to give her 5 stars but the inconsistency says maybe this isn’t your lane.”
