“Whenever I feel the need to listen to something while exercising or commuting (on foot or transit) I’m pretty committed to iTunes giving me great music catered to the mood I’m in at any given moment.
When I want to keep up to date on topics of interest, besides reading I’ll turn to my favorite YouTubers, and Dan fits the bill there. Podcasts have never particularly appealed because it tends to feel like I’m listening to random people having a conversation to which I’m not a party and why would I care about these strangers and their opinions?
However - I thought I’d give this podcast a try given that it covered a topic of interest for me (aviation) and I enjoy Dan’s review videos. I am so glad I did!
Dan and Alex are clearly experts in their chosen fields and to hear them discuss topical issues in aviation is thoroughly interesting, often lifting the lid and showing the lay person some behind the scenes info. What really makes this podcast, though, is the banter, particularly, I have to say, the charm and quick wittedness of Alex!
Dan is earnest and emotionally invested in many topics and Alex is surprisingly urbane in the best of ways. Alex has an absolute gift for story telling and it brings me back, every week, to listen and enjoy. Absolutely spot on.”
