Emilia Carr: victim blaming
I am really enjoying hearing this podcast however, when the host asked Emilia why she would be attracted to someone who is clearly abusive, the question was framed as if she were to blame in some way. This narrative of victim blaming is extremely damaging and inaccurate. Victims of abuse become more vulnerable and are therefore more likely to be involved with other abusers. .Not to mention, abusers can be extremely manipulative and suck people in before they realise what is happening.

A great podcast. Jack narrates so well and it's interesting hearing directly from the prisoners, quite unique to most crime podcasts. Highly recommend.Read full review »

I only found this podcast yesterday really enjoyable. Fascinating insight into possible miscarriages of justice. Jack provides really good unbiased and balanced reporting of the cases. I’m hooked.
