One FM breakfast announcer Plemo talks to author Robyn Howarth ahead of her talks at the Goulburn Valley Libraries about her new book 'Faraday - A Community Rediscovered'.
Robyn was 10 years old when she was kidnapped from her classroom in Faraday. Her book recounts her life on the farm, the heinous event, and its aftermath. Robyn tells the story through the lens of childhood trauma and its impact on herself and her family.
It has taken Robyn 52 years to proudly acknowledge her roots in Faraday and her education at Faraday State School 797. Robyn will discuss her book, which will be available for purchase at the event. Refreshments will be provided.
Robyn will be at the Dookie Memorial Hall (34 Mary Street Dookie) on Wednesday the 2nd of October 3pm - 4:30pm.
She will be at the Shepparton Library (41-43 Marungi Street, Shepparton) on Thursday the 3rd of October from 10:30am - 12pm.
And the Tatura Library (12-16 Casey Street, Tatura) on Friday the 4th of October from 10:30am - 12pm.
