Description
Consider the system flow diagram depicted in Fig. 1 that we have looked at before. When we consider the system in the frequency domain, we can think of the transfer function as modifying the frequency content of the input signal given by its Fourier transform F(ΞΎ). Borrowing from the nomenclature of electronics, we often call these devices linear filters that filter the spectral properties of the input to create a desired output.
