There are things I’ve learned here that were never taught in school. Before I found this podcast, I knew of the ERA. I knew almost nothing about it. It still blows my mind that the U.S. is so far behind in granting equality to women.

You get up, you study, you take on responsibility. We are all equal, there are plenty of opportunities. Skin color is irrelevant. What happened 150 years ago is irrelevant.
