Uniquely interesting
As a boomer with a Sociology Phd who retains a residual interest in nascent social/cultural movements emerging off the radar, I have found this podcast indispensable. Justin scans this space, presents findings clearly and extracts the maximum content from guests who represent intellectual/economic/political counter cultures I could never identify. In addition, his academic credentials/experience/skills are apparent in both teaching mode and the analytical thinking out loud. Generally have the impression that I am witnessing a live hyper active intellectual inquiry by someone who is incapable of shading either his opinions or his goals. You can take it or leave it which is the point. Also, the recent course offerings have previewed exceptionally qualified instructors most of whom found themselves un-welcomed in academic institutions. In an era where being cast out of academe has become an attractive teaching credential, they are worth a look.

Phenomenal podcast - great thinkers and detailed, thoughtful discussions that never dumb themselves down. Intelligence of the audience is assumed, and the conversations go in weird, fantastic directions that illuminate the future. Recommend!
