Entertaining and radicalizing
I’ve been loving this podcast and the way it illuminates how our material realities shape our values, goals, hobbies, etc. It feels like fun and casual listening, but the guests’ stories also illustrate some really important truths about inequality that are long overdue in coming to light. It’s so interesting to see how the guests’ views differ based on their socioeconomic background and other factors. (Example: Ray Suarez vs. Nick Sansano describing their class status—wow!) Really looking forward to seeing how the show develops over time!
