Peeling Back the Curtain and Shame of Trauma Therapy
I first heard Hillary on The Liturgists podcast about Spiritual Trauma. I was immediately riveted by her extensive knowledge about trauma and how it affects the brain and wreaks havoc in relationships and lives. As someone working within the area of empowering sexually exploited women and preparing to pursue a MSW, Other Peoples Problems provides wonderful insight into creating a safe space for trauma informed care. And as someone who personally experienced abuse and trauma as a child, Hillary has planted seeds that are starting to germinate. I’m am determined to give myself the gift of healing and integration.

I have yet to find a counselor that I’ve reacted so quickly to their voice and responses. If you know anyone in Orange County CA let me know! Lol All of the current episodes touch some chord within and I can’t wait for more episodes!
