“Ecstatic that the Halloween episodes are taking on this new life. I wait all year, genuinely wondering at least once a month, what kind of stories jack will empathetically and skillfully collect this October. Jack listens and talks to people in a way that I think makes them feel comfortable sharing these really scary things that have happened to them. I am fascinated by the paranormal but often find that any sort of curated documentation of people’s stories is, as jack put it, sensationalized and trivialized as a cheap trick. These are real stories and real people and it shows; sometimes there is no satisfying explanation, just haunting questions.
