Description
Welcome back to the Book Coven, witches! Today we're celebrating the life and work of Alejandra Pizarnik. Born in Buenos Aires to Russian Jewish immigrant parents, Pizarnik is considered one of Argentina's most powerful and intense lyric poets. I haven't enjoyed much of her work prior to this recording so I'm excited to be introducing her to all of us!  Joining me are Jeremy and Justin from When Walls Can Talk the Podcast. Cheers and happy reading!  SOURCES:  https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poets/alejandra-pizarnik https://www.taisiakitaiskaia.com/literary-witches-oracle https://www.raintaxi.com/extracting-the-stone-of-madness-poems-1962-1972/ --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
