Description
The call to adventure always invites us to embark on a new, unexplored path. A path that, although it can sometimes be beautiful, is still an unknown path. So we doubt and refuse to set off. We begin to be afraid. The rejection of the call is the first test we, as heroes of our adventure, must face. Fear is a tough challenge …

This is the second chapter of our hero’s journey: refusal of the call.

This is not the story of a common hero or an ordinary heroine, this is our story!
In The Hero with a Thousand Faces, Joseph Campbell illustrates the seventeen stages of the hero's journey, a trace hidden in the weave of history and always present: the
hero, the heroine and their stories change, but the moments that mark the rhythm of their journey remain unchanged.
If it is true that life is an adventure and we are the protagonist of our story then what does our hero's journey look like?
Here I am retracing these seventeen stages by reflecting on our daily lives. A light
reflection to pique our curiosity and awaken in us an interest in delving deeper to better see what is hidden in our personal lives.

This podcast is a rhythmic mix of stories and personal thoughts: a little bit biography and little bit personal growth, a little bit psychology and little bit meditation, a little bit storytelling and a little bit motivational, a little bit spiritual and a little bit philosophical … well it is a curious and well blended mix of ideas, it is worth a try! ;)
> I know this is not the best description and it is not intriguing at all, but I am sure
you will come out with something similar after listening it ;)

Personal note: in order to make my storytelling process simpler and your listening experience easier, in the text I will often favour the use of “hero/he/him” over “heroine/she/her.” This is just a stylistic reason because there are both heroes and heroines in our life ;)
