“I love watching the YouTube video podcast as well as listening to you two speak here as well.
Wow, when I listen to you speak, I hear your wisdom, your strength and your growth and it honestly gives me so much hope to carry on.
There are some mountains in my life that just won’t move and as I cheer Jesus on while He does what I know He can do best for me, I hear your voices and in a way I hold on and hear “keep going Rufaro, it will be ok” because your faith gives me the faith to keep going too and your transparency let’s me know one day I too shall be able to share my testimony which I refer to usually as a ‘mess-filled coming of age message’ God had to write through me for His glory.
I have learnt a lot from you, although I’m a single Pringle, there is so much that one day I imagine God blessing me to be with a partner who I can share your podcast with and we can just have open communication about some of the painful real and raw things still reeling in us and not only that but also share a laugh as we allow for joy and God’s unexplainable peace to settle in our hearts even while navigating not so pretty waters but to heighten our senses enough to see the pretty through it.
I’ve listened to almost all your podcasts but the one on mental health is where I said I have to leave a review and when Brenden said “some of the coping mechanisms you develop through the thorns are what will propel you to become a sensational being” my body, as if I was a first team bench warmer lol, shot up from my couch and went to write it down on my board as if this is a moment for me to shine and so that every time I walk past it I will read that and it will soothe my soul in a way.
I’m from Zimbabwe and in my language called Shona we say “tatenda” which means thank you.
Many will be truly blessed through your platform, I’m glad to be one of them.
Also, (I may have missed this one if it’s there already 😅) please may you consider a podcast touching on ‘friendship transitions’ you have both experienced in your lives from single hood, before you met and what it is like now together / how to make friends as a young adult.
Tatenda ❤️”
