Description
Hello there,
Welcome to our fifth podcast with Alan Balfe, Wildlife and Education Officer at Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco & Activity Park.
We sincerely hope all of you are doing well and most importantly that you and your families are all healthy. Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco & Activity Park is officially open for Self-Guided and Guided Nature Tours and Pedalo Boats on our Activity Lake. Other activities/experiences will remain ‘suspended’ at this time and for 2020.
Our fifth podcast talks about the butterflies that inhabit our Wetlands Nature Reserve. Ireland has 35 Species of Butterflies, some migratory and some stay in the area for the year. 11 of these species are threatened with extension due to pesticides and the lost of our wildflower habitats.
We will keep you updated with news from us and we cannot wait to welcome you all back to us at Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco & Activity Park.

Stay Safe, Stay Local & Best Regards,
From all the Wetlands Team
