Annie McCarrick, an American living in Ireland, left her home on March 26, 1993, and vanished into thin air. Her father, John McCarrick, said, “It’s as if somebody came along and just vacuumed her up off the planet.”   It's been thirty-one years since Annie was last seen. Many theories have been suggested and investigated in Annie’s disappearance. One is that Annie was abducted and murdered by a total stranger. And for most people, this theory seemed the most plausible for decades. The reason for that is because of the other women who have gone missing in eastern Ireland, in an area that is known as the Vanishing Triangle.
