Great lesson in life skills
While this is a thoroughly entertaining podcast, it also has great advice on what to do, and not to do on the trail. I hike alone every now and then and will definitely be employing some of the tips in these shows. First and foremost, I will always leave an itinerary and a planned time for checking with clear instructions on what to do if I don’t check in. Bring a whistle, have a first aid kit, don’t panic. This podcast is an awesome reminder of just how quickly things can go sideways. I love it, and I’ve recommended it to my friends.

Listening to to these incredible stories reminded me that nature can be incredible and peaceful while being able to turn into a terrifying life changing experience. It is so important to respect Mother Earth and educate yourself on whatever environment you are in. You never know what can happen.

The narrator Louise sounds like a teen age girl. Way way way too much vocal fry as well and up tones and down tones. The content and stories were great though.

I love this podcast so much. I have listened to all of the episodes and it is done so well. I learn from every one of them. They are so interesting and the stories are told really well. I would love it if there were more.
