“Carrie lives in so many memories and if everyone who claims they saw it in Stratford or Broadway well it would still be playing. I was lucky enough to talk to Barbara Cook briefly about the show when she was performing in cabaret in London and it was uncomfortable listening as she saw it as her great return to Broadway. This podcast is just brilliant. Makes you laugh and wince at the same time as it’s a show that should have worked. Thank goodness for Southwark Playhouse getting it right! Definitely take time to listen to this as it’s brilliant and the presenters are completely endearing!”
