For this Out Takes, we took a deep dive in to free to air streaming services in Australia and the content on offer including the variety of LGBTIQ programs across them all. We spoke with James Keogh from Umbrella Entertainment who told us about a new platform they’ve launched called Brollie which is free to join and is full of great local and international films and television including some great queer content too. We also featured an encore presentation of our interview with Jane Allen from earlier this year where we discussed ‘In Our Blood’, a four part series on ABC Iview that is set in Sydney and Canberra in the 1980’s, has an incredible cast with a fantastic selection of music from the time that beautifully tells the story of people from politics, medicine and within affected communities grappling separately with a terrifying new disease known as AIDS.
