With an upcoming retrospective coming to Melbourne cinemas soon, we took this oppoprtunity to revisit the career of one of our favourite filthy filmmakers – the man. the myth and the legend that is John Waters. We looked back at his leagcy including his most recent accomplishment of being awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and we spoke to to Jaymes Durante, the Marketing Manager for the Classic and Lido cinemas, about their retrospective that kicks off this month featuring 12 of John Waters classic films on the big screen. We also revisited our interview with the man himself from 2019 where we discussed his remarkable career, his iconic work with Divine and more.
